With Vincent Black, we have a brand new entertaining hero to follow. In the beginning, Vincent as a youth, leads a sad life with his imagination being squeezed out of him by his stepfather. Years go by and we meet Vincent again as a much older, but no happier adult. Things begin to change for Vincent, when one day he is left an unusual inheritance from a deceased relative. It's at this point when the story develops a delightful twist and takes off with a host of new ingenuous characters and a whole new world where Vincent finds his secret history and an evil foe to defeat. Imagination abounds with well thought out characters and some pretty neat original descriptions of everyday life in a brand new world. If you like unusual fantasy stories with believable characters, you'll be happy you picked up this book.
